Cav2p1_RI2021_SC_Frozen

Cav2p1_RI2021_SC_Frozen#

class braincell.channel.Cav2p1_RI2021_SC_Frozen(size, g_max=Quantity(0.00022, 'cm / s'), V_sh=Quantity(0., 'mV'), temp=Quantity(296.15, 'K'), name=None)#

Stellate cell Cav2.1 with the GHK drive frozen for autodiff.

The stellate-cell registration of the frozen-GHK Cav2.1 mechanism implemented by Cav2p1_MA2024_PC_Frozen. The kinetics are those built from the dissociated Purkinje neuron recordings of (Swensen & Bean, 2005) [1] and published in (Anwar, Hong & De Schutter, 2012) [2], imported here for the cerebellar stellate cell model of (Rizza et al., 2021) [3].

Cav2p1_MA2024_PC_Frozen

The Purkinje-cell frozen variant, where the freezing mechanism, the GHK helper’s constants and the difference from the unfrozen classes are documented.

Cav2p1_RI2021_SC

The unfrozen stellate-cell import of the same mechanism, and this class’s base. The two are not numerically identical: see the Notes.

Notes

The class body is the two declarations _FrozenCav3p1Ghk supplies; every gate, constant and rate function comes from Cav2p1_RI2021_SC. Per the bibliography’s attribution scan this subclass contributes no rate-function code of its own; its zero literal overlap in that scan is an artefact of the constants living in the base class.

Everything in Cav2p1_MA2024_PC_Frozen’s Notes applies unchanged and is not repeated here: no channel state stops evolving, the freezing affects reverse-mode gradients only, and the frozen path uses the NMODL-constant GHK helper rather than the shared ghk_flux(), so the forward current differs slightly from Cav2p1_RI2021_SC’s.

The RI2021 import-deviations tables list no TABLE removal, no derivimplicit -> cnexp substitution and no rate-refresh relocation for Cav2p1.
